Dance! Act! Sing! and have Fun!

Our Summer Schools have been operating successfully in key areas across the UK for 3 years and provide a 5–day course for students aged 8–14 years. The week runs from Monday–Friday 09.30–16.30 plus 18.30–19.30 on Friday. (Times may vary in different areas – please enquire.)

Our teams of qualified teachers are drawn from professional musical theatre artists, to tutors of Performing Arts. The safety of the students in our care is paramount, and we have our own Child Protection Policy in place.

Each year Back to Broadway obtains the license for a popular West End/Broadway musical. A varied timetable is meticulously compiled by the B2B team in order to produce a carefully structured “fun” week.

We include ice breaker games, costume discussion, microphone techniques, physical and vocal warm–ups as well as tuition in dance, drama and singing. This is all cleverly integrated in to the rehearsals for the performance at the close of the week. The end of week production with lighting and sound is performed exclusively for family and friends, and is the exciting moment when the students can showcase their achievements!

During the week a West End cast member from the chosen musical will join the students for a fun session – rehearsing with them, answering questions and giving some extra special tuition.

Back to Broadway works closely with UK Children’s Hospices and the end of week production is performed in aid of a local Children’s Hospice. Charity volunteers will be present and admission is by voluntary donation.

At Back to Broadway we “practice what we preach” as many of our teachers perform for us in stage shows and cabaret. We have performed in venues as varied as The Natural History Museum London to the Monterrey Theatre Mexico, as well as exclusive hotels, UK theatres and stunning wedding venues including Chatsworth House Derbyshire. All our theatre events raise funds for various charities.
